My ultimate Motor City cultural sleaze tour

Okay, maybe, penultimate.

This was a special trip on a cold day in February, brainchild and custom of one of my longstanding pals, let's call hm Mo, who grew up in the Michigan Avenue corridor in the city of Detrot.  Just as Carl Sandberg once called Chicago "City of the Broad Shoulders," a good nickname for Detroit might be "City of the Clenched Fist."

Indeed, there's a sculpture downtown, The Fist, a tribute to legendary boxer Joe Louis. 

Before the automobile changed everything, Detroit was a hub of commerce on the Great Lakes, primarily
