General Technical Documentation—user-oriented materials, standards and procedures, process control, reference manuals, help text, high-level PowerPoint presentations to top executives, data communications modules, training documentation, and so on.
Journalistic, Cause-Oriented Writing—numerous writings for the media, including news releases, columns and articles, particularly the Neighborhood News in the Free State, the Detroit Free Press, technical studies for professional publications, guest opinions, reviews, and editorials.

Terms of Service
I'm available for shorter-term freelance projects as well as longer-term (three to six months duration) contracts that require up to 50% physical-site presence in the US Midwest, Mid-Atlantic, and New England regions. For exceptional rates, I will consider longer-term contracts within the continental US.
My normal freelance and contract rates fall within a conventional range, depending on the nature of the work. For ballpark, please refer to the following rate assessment document by Lynn Wasnak.
I can also work longer-term on a direct-hire basis for extraordinary companies who are committed to doing business in a manner that recognizes the full potential and worth of every individual.

Most Common Payment Arrangements:
BWrightWorks upon receipt of authorization will perform required services in the following sequence:
a) BW completes approximately 10% of material and submits to customer
b) Customer issues payment for 50% of the dollar amount quoted (PayPal)
c) BW completes remaining 90% of material and submits to customer
d) Customer issues payment for remaining actual amount billed for project
[Total amount billed = Dollar amount quoted ± 15%... to allow for unexpected developments; if the total amount exceeds the 15% margin, BWrightWorks will requote for the remaining work.]
[1] BWrightWorks defines a BWrightWorks Screenpage (SP) as a screenprinted section of a Webpage including spaces and artwork that when printed to a standard 8.5x11 sheet leaves a margin of approximately 1-1.5 inch around. Billling will be on the basis of SPs, with more than half-height counting as a full screenpage and less than half-height counting as half a screenpage.
