We have fallen on tough times. Michigan bureaucrats have recently started an egregious witch hunt against medical marijuana, which was approved in 2008 by the voters in overwhelming fashion.
With the Flint water poisoning scandal garnering national attention, our corrupt scumbag bureaucrats need a scapegoat. And this time the scapegoat is innocent medical patients and their caregivers.
They have shut down dozens of medical marijuana dispensaries that were operating lawfully in the past several weeks. This has resulted in livelihoods being destroyed and has jeopardized access to medicine for thousands of sick patients.
That’s why we are fighting back. Next week, our friends at Michigan Mom’s United will be hosting a ‘Stop the Raids’ protest in Lansing at the state capitol. It will take place on Mar. 22 at the Michigan State Capitol Building, 100 N Capitol Ave, Lansing, Michigan 48933 at 12 Noon. Here is more information about the crucial event.
“Michigan police are escalating SWAT raids on peaceful people. Meet us on the front steps of our states capitol to demand the state of Michigan protect people and families instead of law enforcement budgets. We are protesting ALL RAIDS by SWAT teams, including ICE and drug task force raids.
We are looking for raid victims from every corner of the state to testify to the aggressive, escalating attacks on our sovereignty.
Press Conference and protest to launch #stoptheraids campaign and announce forthcoming actions to #stoptheraids.”
