Grand Strategy: First Principles’ Foundation and First Principles’ Grand Juries

It is with a spirit of melancholy, yet resolve, that I formally announce the founding of the organization, the First Principles’ Foundation, whose aim will be to elucidate and promote American First Principles and their logical activist corollary: formation and spearheading of PRIME (people’s restored independent multilevel everywhere) grand juries as described in these two columns and a brochure:

The Foundation’s initial Web presence is soon to come, with my vision-quest site, http://Global-Spring.org, serving as its umbrella, also covering the moral philosophy I’ve created, called Trumanism, and launch of the Independents’ movement.

So why the melancholy?

Because, candidly, at 68 years old I look at what I’ve done over the years in working for and laying out new ideas for what seems right[1] and by no stretch of the imagination would I be considered conventionally successful in life. Further, by challenging official stories with logic and facts to counter the powerful image-driven emotions these stories elicit in the collective consciousness, lots of former friends and family have disconnected from me. Which, yes, is not only melancholic but depressing. From time to time. And even now, as I announce what has the potential to vindicate me, as well as all my compatriots who toil in the Valley of Truth.

Then why the spirit of resolve?

Because of that imminent vindication… provided by the all-American metasystem of justice I’m proposing, which is drawn straight from the sacred First Principles set forth in the Declaration of Independence:

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. — That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, — That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness.

Now that I think of it, THIS is the oath every American needs to learn by heart and recite proudly in school settings, at sporting events, church socials, and for every public official swearing-in ceremony. The five First Principles:

  1. Natural rights of the individual
  2. Equality of individuals in law
  3. Government solely to secure rights
  4. Just Powers solely from The People
  5. The People’s right to fix/end govt.

Principle #5 establishes the authority of The People to DIRECTLY oversee government activity and to bring corrupt, criminal public officials (and their associates) to trial of The People… as well as to prevent public officials from corrupting their authority in the abuse of individual citizens. Grand juries: a SWORD and a SHIELD. We the people already have the grand jury power, all it takes is the will to take it out of the old tool shed and dust it off.

The only real technical issue I see is for the interim online virtual grand juries, and that is how to develop a sufficient reservoir of impartial virtual jurors to populate and seriously deliberate on virtual cases. But I know by the time we reach that step, the answers will come from the First Principles’ community.

Marketing 1st Principles and 1st Principles’ Grand Juries

The older I get, the more I’m seeing  that from a success point of view, EVERYTHING is marketing. Well not quite; you need a first-rate product or service for the long-term win. But knowing how to present your creation is as important as the creation itself. So I’m going to leave my announcement on that note, so that those of us who see the marvelous potential of 1stP and 1stP_GJs develop the movement by immediately starting to come  up with slogans, symbols, images, phrases, videos, and so on.

  • First Principles: There are none higher!
  • Grand Juries: Your personal SWORD and SHIELD against corrupt officials.
  • Grand Juries: People REALLY taking charge!

All right so I’m not a marketing guru. But I think you see that we’re looking at a genuine and relatively quick SOLUTION to what ails humanity, certainly what, in essence, ails America.

Okay, another reason for the melancholy: Even though I have the original idea to meld 1st Principles and grand juries in this unique and powerful way, I have real doubts about whether I any longer have the physical or emotional energy to make an earthshaking movement out of the grand strategic concept. Ideally, this launch announcement will inspire and ignite someone in his prime time to pick up the banner to lead the Braveheart army.

Within a month or two, I shall at least try to arrange an introductory presentation on 1stP and 1stP GJs in person in a liberty venue. Probably, Campaign for Liberty, Oakland County, Michigan, its November or December 2017 meeting.
