Brian’s Column: Of Fantasy Football and Donald Trump

Comments on how my friends (and I, occasionally) ignore the 900# Gorilla

Ol’ Tom said it most eloquently:

“Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed.”

Ignore_2In other words, life goes on. Most people, like my fantasy football league guys and nearly everyone else I’ve ever worked or played golf with, have ‘taken the Blue Pill’ so long ago in their lives—preferring normal lives with children, jobs and careers as best they can, going to church, fitting in with the way things are done without asking any questions—that they literally have no idea what I’m talking about when I suggest the system is lying to them. That, in fact, the system is dangerous to life and limb and needs to change… and that they should ask questions and act to save themselves and all those they love. [They have to recognize, first, what Toto tells them, and then they must DOROTHY UP!]

Now with advent of ‘The Tube‘ it may be too late:[1] as Morpheus notes to Neo in The Matrix, “You have to understand, most of these people are not ready to be unplugged. And many of them are so inured, so hopelessly dependent on the system, that they will fight to protect it.” Say it isn’t so, Morpheus! These are great guys… productive, bright, generous, funny, a joy to be around…  you mean they’ll never lift a finger to stop wars of aggression, end torture and gross injustice, expose all the Big Lies of the Borg State?! Sadly, I’m afraid that’s just the way things are. For plenty of reasons. Unless…

Those of us who by nature tilt at windmills and howl at the moon must not give up the cause of truth, justice, and liberty. There certainly are ways to bring awareness, break the chains of the collective consensus. And some of the ways are to relentlessly present and insist upon the facts of reality, and insist that our friends do not lookaway:

“But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security.”

When will the long train of abuses and usurpations become obvious to those otherwise occupied with their daily lives? What about the long train of killer lies? On top of the general problem of the need to be aware, you have forces designed to further confuse and throw decoys at you. Donald Trump, presidential candidate, whom most of my Blue Pill friends find refreshing and energizing, is IMHO one such decoy and stumbling block to connecting to reality.

Comments about Trump

From recent conversation on Facebook:

I remember the analyses of Ayn Rand and others of the so-called mixed economy–a combination of freedom and statism, where innumerable pressure groups vie for control of the state and the politicians who dish out the goodies. It’s an unstable mix, because at some point, an Attila or a strong arm politician like Hitler or, geez, any of a vast number of third world country dictators, emerges. He seems to cut the Gordian Knot by smashing through all the pretenses of the political class scurrying about serving their special interests.

Trump is like that strong arm man. He reminds me of Benito Mussolini by way of Liberace (because of the hair, not because he’s gay-friendly). By no means is he devoid of special interest control–the Israel Lobby and the Prison Industrial Complex/National Security State seem to have his ear (building the Wall and fomenting more imperial wars surely have the enforcer elites drooling in expectation: “Your papers, now!” “You can’t park there, smoke that joint, harbor immigrants, etc.!” BOOM! “Sorry, didn’t mean to shoot you, but that’s what you get for not groveling quickly before my shiny badge.”)

That Trump is emerging as some sort of good fellow–yes, he does occasionally hit a correct key on the accordion, like at least questioning what we’ve been told by the medical cartel about vaccines–is an indication of the moral and intellectual bankruptcy of our time. A time when for its masters the Tube has created millions of automatons of the Grand Collective Consensus, and now the jumbo ‘American Exceptionalism’ automaton lobby of the Grand Collective Consensus feels it isn’t being treated with respect, by golly, so it will have to take charge with a man like Benito.

Debt? The Fed? The Constitution? Individual Liberty? Principles? Conceptual Knowledge? Forgedaboudit. Trump is a knucklehead mobbed-up fascist through and through. The perfect leader, when you think about it, for how one commentator characterized the modern American collective soul: “An army on the march.” A fat idiocracy army at that. At least with Trump we’ll go down the tubes mercifully fast. Heil Donald!

Comment from Shane:

While Trump touches on many important issues that are ignored by the political class, all of his ‘solutions’ are heavy-handed and authoritarian in nature. Trump would have to increase the size and scope of government substantially to pull off his proposed schemes. I suspect that Trump as President would show all us little people the same respect that he showed the property owners whose land he tried to get big government to rob on his behalf by abusing unjust eminent domain laws. The Mussolini comparison is quite appropriate.

Me, to Shane:

For sure, he’s an insider. The question is whose? I agree with you, Shane, that it’s tragic this phenomenon now. Also, I believe there is contrivance to it. What a difference between Ron and Rand! Ron would and will stick to his Freedom Philosophy in the middle of all this bogus Trump-mania. Rand doesn’t know what to do at all. It’s not too late, Ron, jump in the race!

Me, conclusion, following query by a Ken:

Ken, thanks for the compliment. But I’m 66 and was an early adopter of the Libertarian Party in Michigan. Also from a heroic individualist background via the writings of Ayn Rand. I maintain a libertarian opinion and review site (http://thecoffeecoaster.com) and have written several books (http://brianrwright.com/Author.pdf). Generally, I collaborate with what I regard as Liberty Republicans in the county and at the state level… like Shane, David Lonier, Dennis Marburger, the main players in Campaign for Liberty and Concerned Taxpayers of Michigan. I live in Novi, and consider the LATP a generally effective alliance for what I would like to see in the Republican Party and the Republic in general: a Ron Paul libertarian vision: peace, freedom, civil liberties, and an end to the New World Order.

My sincere conviction, after several decades of following similar personalities to the Donald–like Ross Perot–, is that he is a fascist nationalist. Which is a technical description, not a pejorative one. In fact, he’s probably the quintessence of the American fascist-nationalist worldview… which, unlike the Freedom Philosophy of Ron Paul, will get us all killed or enslaved very quickly in the American Gulag should we ask any serious questions of those in charge.

I know a lot of the people in the LATP group are good Christian Americans and look at Trump favorably because he seems to be pro-American, and we are all pro-American. Unfortunately, after several decades of deep brainwashing by the New World Order a lot of truly good people calling themselves conservative believe in a militaristic state serving the interests of a combination of international cabals centered around the central banking elites. These elites are not our friends. War and empire are not our friends.

There is little doubt that Trump is connected deeply and stealthily with these financial elites, which is how he ‘earned’ his fortune to begin with… as Shane states, by using the political process to acquire/develop property via eminent domain. At the same time, some of these elites at a lower level in the Cabal are indeed alarmed at part of Trump’s perceived economic program because it gives Americans some hope of redeveloping their manufacturing base and jobs.

But that part of Trump’s perceived economic program, as hopeful (and even valid) as it is, I’m afraid is just campaign rhetoric designed to gather support. Trump’s economic principles–which are fascist (what’s good for connected corporations is good for America), which is to say not even principles–lead inevitably to a mega state even bigger than the Obamatron. Mainly because of Trump’s militarism. The best you can hope for with Trump is $20 trillion in debt, wars all over the planet [until the Big One], a massive pervasive police state, and the end of Obamacare. Hey, that’s something.

We humans do have hope, but we need a revolution in consciousness. First, as in the movie The Matrix, we have to realize that we have all been victims of sophisticated, centralized mind control since roughly 100 years ago. Please watch Rule from the Shadows here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p8ERfxWouXs. Then to acquire a completely liberty-driven solution, please also become aware of the Thrive movement, by watching this video: http://thrivemovement.com/the_movie. Thrive–completely pro liberty, anti central bank, pro peace, pro individualist and the nonviolation principle– is the future.

Ron Paul was on the right track. No other candidate since is even close. It’s a glittery puppet show, is all any of them are. Including Rand Paul. [Though overall on liberty, Rand is at least within a universe or two of his old man.] Trump is the clown, the public attraction intended to keep people interested in the charade that they have any power whatsoever in this arena. Has he once said anything about the surveillance state, about torture and wars of aggression, about individual liberty under the Constitution, about the Bill of Rights?

The American people WILL have power when they boycott the puppet show, apply the Constitution, fire or imprison all the traitors (using a suitable grand jury initiated process) in government, and by God realize that they have been taken for a false-flag terrorist ride by the Neverending World War Business (War, Inc.)… mainly as of this geologic five minutes by the Israeli Zionistas and their Neocon Nazi allies.

I must also add at this point that we have this amazing practical tool to effectively boycott the fascist-nationalist-socialist state: Pete Hendrickson’s Cracking the Code (http://losthorizons.com/Cracking_the_Code.htm). We must all learn the truth about the tax code, as 10s of thousands are already doing and reclaiming our property from the feds. Without the loot we send them (gratuitously) they cannot be a threat to us. Pete’s wife Doreen is suffering the wrath of the feds as we speak because they wholly unconstitutionally have attacked her (http://pontiactribune.com/innocent-mother-caged-for-1-5-years) as a means of subduing the burgeoning educated tax movement.

So, Ken, thanks for this opportunity. Much of my posting here will appear as my weekly column today no doubt. Donald Trump is a sideshow, a distraction from the cause of liberty. Republicans need to redeem themselves–especially Michigan’s establishment statists–and become a beacon for liberty. Which means fundamental change in consciousness for every individual, to be aware of how we’re being manipulated and dehumanized and just say no.

[1] The big revelation for me lately has been that with television a new variant of human consciousness has emerged, identified in this quotation from Marshall McLuhan:

“The media have substituted themselves for the older world… The new media are not bridges between man and nature—they are nature… The new media are not ways of relating us to the old world; they are the real world and they reshape what remains of the old world at will… In television, images are projected at you. You are the screen. The images wrap around you. You are the vanishing point… The whole tendency of modern communication… is towards participation in a process, rather than apprehension of concepts.”

… and we who are guardians of the conceptual, individualistic form of consciousness have to realize that the precondition for any real shift to a sane, abundant, viable, human society is to break those mental chains of electronic imagery that McLuhan describes and that control, now, probably 90% of humanity… including our plugged in friends… no matter how bright they may be. The Mind Snatchers have them and the only workable strategy is wrest our people away and restore full independent, individual consciousness to them. A tall order.
