Guest Column: Run with Runestad

There is none higher in Michigan politics, running for Michigan Senate
Fundraiser Tuesday 18 July 2017, Billy’s Tip ‘n’ Inn, White Lake, MI

Contributed by David Lonier

All Michigan liberty people, please attend, and if you can’t, please contribute to Repre-sentative Runestad’s campaign. Even though the pressures of political success can undermine anyone’s commitment to the principles of liberty, Mr. Runestad has already shown resistance to such attacks as a representative. I won’t be able to attend this fundraiser, but I shall be sending him $50. I’ve met him, looked him in the eye, and anyone can just know that Jim is the real deal. He’ll be a strong voice for freedom in our state for years to come.—BW Continue reading

Guest Column: Bozeman Red Pill 9/11

AE911Truth a Hit at the Red Pill Expo in Montana
By Michael Atkinson for 9/11 Truth… + more

Nearly 600 eager truth seekers from all over the US gathered at the Red Pill Expo in Bozeman, MT, this past weekend. The highly anticipated event featured at least a dozen internationally-known speakers including AE911Truth’s Richard Gage, AIA. According to reports from dozens of attendees, Gage delivered a stunning, inform-ation-packed presentation on the explosive WTC evidence.

The audience proved to be well-informed and open-minded. Of the nearly 600 attendees, just eight of them came in believing the official narra tive that jet planes and fires brought down the Twin Towers, while 16 were unsure. By the end of the presentation, no one believed the official narrative and only eight were unsure. We sent the crowd home with hundreds of brochures, DVDs, t-shirts, and hats with which to prompt discussion and inform their family, friends, and co-workers.

Held in the heart of the Rocky Mountains, this unique gathering was wildly successful by any measure — thanks to the deft vision and hard work of G. Edward Griffin, author of The Creature from Jekyll Island. Click link to sign up for free replays:

Guest Column: Speak Ill of Israel, go to Jail

International campaign is criminalizing criticism of Israel as ‘antisemitism’
By Alison Weir (of If Americans Knew) [original with links here]

As the world has witnessed the oppression and ethnic cleansing of Palestinians, many people have risen in protest. In response, the Israeli government and certain of its advocates have conducted a campaign to crack down on this activism, running roughshod over civil liberties (and the English language) in the process.

The mechanism of this crackdown is the redefinition of “antisemitism”[1] to include criticism of Israel, and the insertion of this definition into the bodies of law of various countries.

Where most people would consider “antisemitism” to mean bigotry against Jewish people (and rightly consider it abhorrent), for two decades a campaign has been underway to replace that definition with an Israel-centric definition. That definition can then be used to block speech and activism in support of Palestinian human rights as “hate.” Various groups are applying this definition in law enforcement evaluations of possible crimes.

Proponents of this Israel-centric definition have promoted it step by step in various arenas, from the U.S. State Department and European governments to local governments around the U.S. and universities.

While this effort has taken place over the last two decades, it is snowballing rapidly at this time. The definition is increasingly being used to curtail free speech and academic freedom, as well as political activism. Continue reading

Guest Column: “Groundbreaking Opportunity for YAL?”

Young Americans for Liberty Used as “Rent-a-Mob” for Big Govt. Republican
By Shane Trejo, The Liberty Conservative [Original column here]

BREAKING:

Just a few weeks ago, dozens of precocious young libertarians from throughout the country were bussed out to beautiful Mackinac Island in Northern Michigan. Advertised as “a ground breaking opportunity for liberty,” starry eyed activists hit the pavement with enthusiasm and vigor to make liberty win. Little did they know they were being used as pawns by a big government politician with questionable values.

“You will be the deciding factor that brings Liberty to a state this summer and lays the ground work for exciting opportunities to come,” Young Americans for Liberty boasted on their “Liberty Summer” page.

It continued, “It’s time. All eyes will be on this. Want Change? Change Something.”

Field representatives were offered $1,500 pay with housing provided as well as stipends for gas and “a month of liberty immersion” to participate in the project. One crucial detail conspicuously absent in the description was who the activists would really be working for: Michigan Lieutenant Governor Brian Calley. Continue reading

Guest Column: Swamp Things in Chantilly

Trump to send his CFR reps to the Bilderberg meeting
By Bob Livingston, Personal Liberty [Original column here]

President Donald Trump, his agenda and his recent chiding of Angela Merkel and NATO members are sure to be leading conversation topics at the annual Bilderberg meeting that kicks off tomorrow at Chantilly, Virginia.

The three-day summit of billionaires, politicos, royalty, media moguls and establishment/ globalist types convenes each year behind walls of security guards, bricks and specially-planted flora to discuss opening borders, printing money, starting wars and to set in motion world events for their benefit. And since Trump has – seemingly, at least – upset their apple cart, he’s sure to be topic No. 1.

But don’t worry. He sent along members of his team who will be right at home smoozing with the collectivist bigwigs; cabinet members incluiding Council on Foreign Relations members H.R. McMaster and Christopher Liddell. McMaster doubles as Trump’s National Security Advisor and Liddell as White House Director of Strategic Initiatives. These are just two of the swamp creatures Trump’s employed to “drain it.” Continue reading

Guest Column: What Kind of People…

… would look the other way in the presence of gross injustice?
Post by Thomas Are via Paul Craig Roberts [Original here]

What kind of people would enjoy a sumptuous meal in front of a starving child and simply say, “Go away kid, you bother me.”?  None that I know.  What kind of people would deliberately withhold food and destroy the means of growing food in the context of abundance surrounded by children reaching out for crumbs from the table and simply say, “I don’t care?” I don’t personally know anyone so calloused because I don’t personally know any Israeli Zionists.

Next month, Israel will be celebrating its 50th anniversary of occupying the Palestinian West Bank, East Jerusalem and Gaza [and the June 8, 1967, deliberate, unprovoked attack on the USS Liberty… AND decades of ethnic cleansing and apartheid —ed.].  Is that something of which to be proud?

Since the Six Day War (and war crime attack on the Liberty) Israel has:

  • Demolished over 48,000 homes in the West Bank and Gaza
  • Confiscated over 586,000 acres of Palestinian land the West Bank
  • Created 300,000 Palestinian refugees
  • Colonized the West Bank with over 600,000 Jewish settlers
  • Enacted over 50 laws that discriminate against Israel’s Arab minority
  • Established an apartheid legal system with civil courts for Jewish settlers and separate military courts for 4.5 million Palestinians, including indefinite detention without trial and a conviction rate of over 99%.[1]

Guest Column: Details on the Major Issue Facing Us Today

Making Sense of the “Super Fuse” Scare
By The Saker via Paul Craig Roberts 5/11/2017 [Full original column]

For weeks now I have been getting panicked emails with readers asking me whether the USA had developed a special technology called “super fuses” which would make it possible for the USA to successfully pull-off a (preemptive) disarming first strike against Russia. Super-fuses were also mentioned in combination with an alleged lack by Russia of a functioning space-based infrared early warning system giving the Russians less time to react to a possible US nuclear attack.

While there is a factual basis to all this, the original report already mislead the reader with a shocking title “How US nuclear force modernization is undermining strategic stability: The burst-height compensating super-fuze” and by offering several unsubstantiated conclusions. Furthermore, this original report was further discussed by many observers who simply lack the expertise to understand what the facts mentioned in the report really mean. Then the various sources started quoting each other and eventually this resulted in a completely baseless “super fuse scare”. Let’s try to make some sense of all this.

Understanding nuclear strikes and their targets

To understand what really has taken place I need to first define a couple of crucial terms:

  • Hard-target kill capability: this refers to the capability of a missile to destroy a strongly protected target such as a underground missile silo or a deeply buried command post.
  • Soft-target kill capability: the capability to destroy lightly or unprotected targets.
  • Counterforce strike: this refers to a strike aimed at the enemy’s military capabilities.
  • Countervalue strike: this refers to a strike on non-military assets such as cities.
