Movie Review: 1971 (2014)

PBS Documentary will have you on the edge of your national security state

1971The story of a notorious 1971 activist burglary of an FBI office that lead to exposing the Bureau’s numerous abuses against dissidents.

“In 1971, long before Edward Snowden’s revelations of NSA surveillance, a group of [young antiwar activist] citizens broke into a small FBI office in Pennsylvania, took every file, and shared them with the public. Their actions exposed the FBI’s illegal surveillance program of law-abiding Americans. Now for the first time, these anonymous Americans who risked everything share their story publicly.”

This movie is a white-knuckle ride through late 1960s and early 1970s America, when brutal national-security-state fascism was no longer a dream of the power elite… it was a stark reality. Thanks to the War in Vietnam and the militaristic regime of Richard Milhouse Nixon, millions of young Americans had to face the grim reality that, as John Lennon put it, the world was indeed “being run by insane men for insane purposes.” Continue reading

Guest Column: Canada Bans Charlie Hebdo Author

Denied entry into Canada due to hot-potato Charlie Hebdo book

hebdo-barrettby Kevin Barrett,  Veterans Today Editor

This Friday, after preaching a sermon to 400 people at the Wayne State University mosque in Detroit, I attempted to enter Canada.

The subject of my sermon was “truth vs. hypocrisy.” I urged Muslims to defeat the war on Islam – a genocide campaign that has taken the lives of at least four million Muslims since 1990 – by exposing the truth about the false flag operations that created and sustain it.

The mother of all false flags was 9/11. And the biggest recent one was Charlie Hebdo – a Mossad-DCCI joint operation in Paris last January 7th. Continue reading

Brian’s Column: Doreen’s Status, Please Help

Doreen Hendrickson relief fund: http://gofundme.com/DoreenRelief

CtCOn April 11, 2015, Pete Hendrickson drove Doreen to the prison facility to begin her unconscionably severe 18-month sentence for refusing to obey a direct order from a federal judge that Doreen commit felony perjury on a tax affidavit. (Yes, it CAN and DID happen here.) Pete strenuously filed motions for ‘bond release until appeal’ to the sentencing judge, which judge vindictively ignored. Thus his wife and mother of two… and daughter and sister and dear friend to so many of us has taken up involuntary residence in the hills and hollars where world famous Martha Stewart did her time (though only for five months under ‘cupcake’ conditions… mainly because Martha did NOT refuse to lie to officials).

[Doreen Hendrickson: 48564-039, FPC Alderson A-4, P.O. Box A, Alderson, WV 24910. She would love to hear from you. Personally, I’m mailing her a letter per week for however long it will be, we hope only a few more weeks when the appeal is successful, as our good ol’ Bill of Rights is invoked.] Continue reading

Guest Column: Sheriff ‘Stingray’ Bouchard

Asset Forfeiture King Mike ‘Stingray’ Bouchard Runs from Honest Debate
by Shane Trejo, The Detroit Constitutionalist [Original Here]

Bouchard_sans_SwastikaThroughout the country, Constitutional Sheriffs are popping up everywhere and unleashing a wave of resistance against unconstitutional federal power that hasn’t been seen in generations. Last year, We the People formed an impromptu volunteer militia that successfully warded off federal land barons at the Bundy Ranch. Thomas Jefferson’s rightful remedy, state nullification, is being utilized to stop federal tyranny more than any time in our nation’s history. Guns continue to fly off the shelves at a staggering, astronomical rate. These encouraging developments are a breath of fresh air for freedom-lovers across the country.

However, not every Sheriff is on board with protecting our Constitutional freedoms against unjust federal overreach. Many are lined up at the federal trough, hoping to get their hands on gifts and goodies to bolster their own illicit power. These oathbreakers are ecstatic to do the bidding of the feds and push us ever closer to police state tyranny. One of these shameful folks, I’m sad to say, is Oakland County Sheriff Mike Bouchard. Brian’s Column: Toto Worldwide Organization

Beist_SymbolEditor’s Note: The following is the second section of a three-section document that I’m assembling to prospect for a so-called ‘Toto’ organization that serves to bring truth and justice to the world… primarily by pulling back the curtain on the 9/11 attacks and other ‘high-crime assaults’ that have at their core a massive amount of deception. Although the first section of the prospectus represents several enhancements from the original two-sided ‘Project Toto’ document, it covers the same ground as that ‘Project Toto’ document, which is a former column at this location.

Toto Worldwide follows from the action concepts of my book, After 9/11 Truth, (A911T) which proposes a ‘Truth-Letter Closure’ (TLC) campaign by persons recruited from the general 9/11 Truth community—which sends templatized letters of appeal, one-by-one, to targeted ‘Respected Deniers’ (RDs) from a participant’s contacts. The object of a TLC message is threefold, to have the RD: Continue reading

Movie Review: Ed Wood (1994)

Romantic, idealistic schmaltz by any other name

Ed WoodOrson Welles [to Ed Wood]: “Visions are worth fighting for. Why spend your life making someone else’s dreams?”

Ed Wood, the movie, is an homage to two quirky, dedicated idealists of the silver screen, the director Ed Wood (Johnny Depp) and the actor Bela Lugosi (Martin Landau). It seems to set up as a comedy initially, as we watch producer-writer-director-actor Ed learning the ropes of Hollywood —he’s the epitome of the independent filmmaker, operating on a wing and a prayer—and struggling to make ends meet. Right off the bat we learn Wood has a fetish for wearing women’s clothing, which really isn’t supposed to be funny by itself, but it fits with the sort of lovable offbeat losers he seems to like to surround himself with as cast and crew. Guest Column: Canada’s Surveillance State

Canada, welcome to the US-style Surveillance State
by Jon Rappoport, excerpted from Nomorefakenews.com

CanadaObama likes to say, “We’re all in this together.” Well, our two populations are now together as targets of spying.

May 11, 2015

The notorious Bill C-51 to expand spying on citizens in Canada has passed the House of Commons, by a vote of 183-96. It now moves to the Senate, where passage seems inevitable.

A few comments:

It’s likely that much of this “expanded spying” is already taking place in Canada. Making it law protects the spying agencies from accusations and recriminations.

Here is how a law like C-51 will operate as time passes: every federal agency in Canada with a taste for meddling (in other words, every single bureaucratic agency) will horn in on the action, using the justification of “national security.” Continue reading
