About Brian Wright

Hello, I'm Brian Wright, the proprietor and chief content provider to this Web opinion and review site. The Coffee Coaster (thecoffeecoaster.com) has been around since late 2006, and in early 2012 I finally decided to give the site a major makeover with this Wordpress implementation. My views are 'wholistic libertarian,' meaning focused on the spiritual--I like to use the word: essentual--evolution we will need, individually, in order to reach the New Paradigm of peace, freedom, and abundance. Let's help one another in the process.

Brian’s Column: A Latesummer’s Night Dream

Just my own little castle in the sky… or something more?

WDreamhatever the message, this was one of my better nights in the saddle of pleasant visions, with a touch of humor that comes from someplace outside of me. [Not that I don’t have a sense of humor, but this inner motion picture is not any sequence I would have thought up on my own, in a thousand years.] It was the previous Thursday morning (8/7/14) right toward the end of my sleep session, and the dream was so vivid and entertaining, also sad and poignant, I immediately rose to write it down in longhand. It contained so many things I truly care about in this world—and recently departed of this world: golf, Mom, and the dear deceased feline friend of the woman I married. Without further ado, here’s the story… you decide. Continue reading

Movie Review: The Anatomy of a Great Deception

How Building 7 woke me up
by David Hooper

Anatomy1This column is as much a ‘Happening’ review as a movie review. The Happening is the actual debut of the film, occurring in Detroit, Michigan, at the Fillmore entertainment center (for most of its life, the State Theatre) on September 5, 2014. Mr. Hooper, producer and writer/director of the film, has pointed me to an early draft version of Anatomy for review purposes. And… I… am… so… glad… he… did!

Like David, I came to question the official story of the 9/11/2001 attacks several years after they took place. But unlike David, my frustration in not being able to get friends, family, and huckleberries to so much as look at the evidence did not lead to creation of a deeply personal movie as a way around these obstacles. The same may be said for the soon-to-be millions of 9/11 truth activists (and Gandhian Satyagraha activists)[1] around the world. Despite mountains of evidence and persistent strong reasoning from objective reality, our collective batting average in convincing others to look at the evidence has been approximately 0.015… and that’s counting walks as singles.:) Continue reading

Guest Column: Ebola: 100 people from Beverly Hills starving…

Do you think all bizarre human symptoms must be caused by a germ?
by Jon Rappoport

Full column in nomorefakenews.com here.

Absurd. Insane.

Ever heard of Scurvy? It’s basically a drastic Vitamin C deficiency.

Read this, from the Journal of Applied Nutrition, Volume 15, 1962, “Have We Forgotten the Lesson of Scurvy?” by WJ McCormick, MD (reprinted at selene river press):

“From the 14th to the 19th century, scurvy took the lives of millions annually in Europe and Asia. From 1600 to 1800, it is estimated that fully a million English sailors succumbed to this disease. In the early history of these pandemics the designations “Plague” and “Black Death” were used…the characteristic symptoms: multiple hemorrhages under the skin (red, purple and black spots and hematoma) and [hemorrhages] from all mucous membranes—gastrointestinal, pulmonary and genitourinary…” Continue reading

Brian’s Column: The Motor City Witchcraft Trial(s)

In sham hearing, judge-sullied jury convicts Doreen Hendrickson of integrity
Are you next?

A girl is accused during the Salem Witch Trials

Simple as that. The comparisons to the Salem Witchcraft trials are apt, where people accused by the church elders of being witches were obliged to either:

  1. admit to witchcraft (~ Doreen falsifying a tax affidavit form) and throw themselves on the mercy of the court to perhaps only suffer imprisonment (in Doreen’s case, resulting in stating income—federally privileged earnings—which the government might then assert to require a tax payment), or
  2. deny being a witch (~ Doreen filling out a tax affidavit form legally and truthfully), from which the judges assume defiance, and thus conclude the person is a very dangerous witch who must be killed (in Doreen’s case, be torn from her family and home to a federal facility in Virginia for several months).

Special Column: Still Time to Stand Up for Doreen Hendrickson

… and truth, liberty, and justice

IMG_20140721_090844Really, people, the issue in this case goes far beyond the suppression of liberating knowledge of the tax law. We have a bizarre case before a (second) jury where Doreen stands accused of criminal contempt of court for refusing to follow specific instructions from a federal judge to knowingly and intentionally falsify a tax form (which is an affidavit asserting what one believes to be true under penalty of perjury).

Yes, right here in River City. If Doreen is convicted, then by the precedent of the Motor City Witchcraft Trials, you or I or anyone can be forced to state, say, “I am a terrorist,” on pain of incarceration… with torture in the offing. And just like admitting one is a witch, you may receive a lesser penalty: e.g. hanging rather than being stoned to death. Seriously, if Doreen is not acquitted anyone will have to obey any raving fiat of a federal judge or face indefinite detention and undefined arbitrary punishment. That means US, knuckleheads. By David Lonier:
Liberty Republican precinct delegate
Candidate for 8th District Congress in Michigan

Resistance_FrontCourt Watchers and Liberty Activists,

Doreen Hendrickson’s trial begins Monday July 21, 2014.

  • Please try to make one or more of these hearings, as this case is critical to our freedom.
  • This is the second time the court has come after her. The first attempt ended in a hung jury.
  • Doreen is being charged with contempt of court because she is unwilling to falsify her tax return.

This is the schedule: Continue reading

Brian’s Column: Ch 6: We the Jury!

Hendrickson_Announcement

(From the title of Mickey Spillane’s classic I, the Jury.) The grand jury and trial jury are powerful tools to arrest runaway US fascism. Jury power is people power.

[From Leaving the Sandbox.] Speaking about ‘the Law’…4thBranch

Let’s see, roughly a year ago, as our LP of Michigan state convention was approaching, an author of a book was making the rounds of LP sites—I’ve been Webmaster of the LPM since November 2009—and he sent me a note about his book about grand juries, The Hidden 4th Branch: A corrupt government’s worst nightmare. He asked for the LPM to pass a simple resolution to support grand juries investigating and indicting corrupt government behavior.

Which I was glad to do. Continue reading
