Donut Whole: Sauce for the Gander

Proposed language for bill that goes the Israel Anti-Boycott Act (S.720) one better:
The Anti Israel-Zionist Boycott Act
Satire by Brian R. Wright

A lot of talk in the media and on Capitol Hill these days in support of the so-called “Don’t Mess with Israel” bill, which would abrogate the United States Constitution in no uncertain terms and apply draconian penalties for standing on one’s First Principle rights when it comes to disrespecting our ally-supremo, the model-benevolent state of Israel. To my way of thinking, this Senate bill S.720, formally ‘Israel Anti-Boycott Act,’ doesn’t go far enough. In fact, using the same template as S.720, l have formulated a more thorough gutting of the Bill of Rights via an S.720 countermeasure, and suggested it to my august federal legislators…

The modifiable Libre Office document lies here. And below lies the html version for your consideration and, I hope, wide circulation:

Brian’s Column: Dis Israel, Lose $250K… or Worse!

Oath-breaking federal legislators cave into Israeli foe against our First Principles

That’s right. Immediately before our eyes. Please read, at least, the following first two paragraphs of this recent article from The Intercept: http://bit.ly/2tzyWiW_Israel_Anti-Boycott_Act:

The criminalization of political speech and activism against Israel has become one of the gravest threats to free speech in the West. In France, activists have been arrested and prosecuted for wearing T-shirts advocating a boycott of Israel. The U.K. has enacted a series of measures designed to outlaw such activism. In the U.S., governors compete with one another over who can implement the most extreme regulations to bar businesses from participating in any boycotts aimed even at Israeli settlements, which the world regards as illegal. On U.S. campuses, punishment of pro-Palestinian students for expressing criticisms of Israel is so commonplace that the Center for Constitutional Rights refers to it as “the Palestine Exception” to free speech.

But now, a group of 43 senators — 29 Republicans and 14 Democrats — wants to implement a law that would make it a felony for Americans to support the international boycott against Israel, which was launched in protest of that country’s decades-old occupation of Palestine. The two primary sponsors of the bill are Democrat Ben Cardin of Maryland and Republican Rob Portman of Ohio. Perhaps the most shocking aspect is the punishment: Anyone guilty of violating the prohibitions will face a minimum civil penalty of $250,000 and a maximum criminal penalty of $1 million and 20 years in prison.

In essence, a Senate bill, S. 720, has been endorsed by dozens of senators and Congressmen that would criminalize any individual’s support for boycott of the state of Israel (e.g. the BDS sanctions). Such support includes speaking in favor of a/the boycott, putting a bumper sticker on one’s car, telling a friend that you don’t like what Israel is doing to its Palestinian prisoners, seeking to bring Israel before the International Criminal Court for apartheid or for the USS Liberty attacks… anything that can be construed by a sadistic government as ‘supporting a boycott’ of Israel. Brian’s Column: Letter Describing the (USS) Liberty Meme

Rather a core dump of ideas on the USS Liberty starting with a screenplay
By Brian R. Wright

Note: this is basically source thinking for what is to come in creation of the so-called (USS) Liberty Meme, to be fleshed out in next week’s column.

To screenplay writer and three Liberty survivors:

Okay, here’s what I have in mind. [I am copying the three key players I ran into and talked with at the reunion, too. Not to put any pressure on anyone, but to get their sense of things and start a conversation about where we need to go. I’m still immersing myself in the books, I know Phil has a key one that I purchased, and I’ve begun to speak publicly–here’s my presentation to the local Campaign for Liberty group in Michigan that I did before going to Norfolk.]

I read thru the document again yesterday for some time, and now feel the only major concern I have is that a new title should be considered. My thinking is twofold (and please understand that I see your work as extraordinary and a magnificent achievement in its own right, I believe this is THE screenplay that is worthy of the cause… indeed probably the only bona fide screenplay extant at this point, where time is of the essence): Continue reading

Brian’s Column: Unraveling the Web (of Deceit), Links Page

Presentation to Oakland County Campaign for Liberty (C4L) on the occasion of the 50th Anniversary of Survival of the USS Liberty, June 8, 1967
By Brian R. Wright

The importance of remembering and commemorating—not to mention bringing justice to the attackers and victims of—the horrific, intentional attack on the unarmed American intelligence USS Liberty in international waters during the so-called Six Day War in June of 1967… cannot be overstated. Yet I will be attempting to do so… as a civilian and an unmitigated partisan of the United States Armed Forces in their legitimate duties to protect and defend the Constitution and American First Principles “against all enemies foreign and domestic.”

This column is mainly a links page referring you to:

  • the video of my presentation to C4L [note I have a few errors of fact, e.g. of number of torpedoes fired by the Israeli gunboats (6 vs. the correct 5) and will be correcting and updating the source material from time to time],
  • my online pdf of that PowerPoint presentation to C4L in Troy, Michigan, June 6, 2017, which includes several links, including especially…
  • links to further research on Israel and Zionism wrt the Liberty… and liberty:

USS Liberty and Important Further Research Links

The latter bulleted item includes references that many readers have not been aware of [and for good reason], but need to be if we are to restore our republic. I’m going to list these key starter links below in this, their own separate document as it were: Continue reading

Movie Review: Losing the Liberty (June 8, 1967)

Two films on the Israeli unprovoked, intentional attack on the USS Liberty

Loss LibertyThe 50th anniversary of the assault on the USS Liberty is coming up June 8th of this year. These two videos are important building blocks toward the understanding of what happened… and toward the steps all good Americans need to take now in defense of our own country… and its Liberty.

Thank you so much Dick Kennedy for sending me these DVDs; I’m simply overwhelmed by the treachery and savagery of high officials of both governments, Israeli and American, serving without question the imperial agenda of Zionist Israel at this most critical juncture of history. It’s stunningly clear this was a false flag attack with unmarked planes and gunboats, intended to be blamed on the Arabs, and to sink the ship and kill everyone on board so no one would be available to contest the story. Following which the US could rightly enter the conflict on the side of Israel.

The objective was also to eliminate surveillance of war crimes—the sadistic, perfunctory execution of several hundred Egyptian POWs from the Six-Day War, the invasion and conquest of the Golan Heights, and who knows what else. Israel had planned the ‘War’ years in advance, thus very likely what they were going to do with any prisoners. The standard story that Israel was facing annihilation from massing Arab forces appears to be complete BS… according to sources quoting a large number of Israelis who were in a position to know: Continue reading

Book Review: Solving 9-11 (2012)

The deception that changed the world
by Christopher Bollyn (reviewed by Brian R. Wright)

“The great rule of conduct for us in regard to foreign nations is in extending our commercial relations, to have with them as little political connection as possible…. It is our true policy to steer clear of permanent alliances with any portion of the foreign world…. Against the insidious wiles of foreign influence (I conjure you to believe me fellow citizens) the jealousy of a free people ought to be constantly awake, since history and experience prove that foreign influence is one of the most baneful foes of republican government.” George Washington’s Farewell Address, 1796, from the foreword by Glen Stanish.

The false narrative of what happened on 9/11 can no longer be supported or sustained by any reasonable person. – See more at: http://www.bollyn.com/#article_14625

“The false narrative of what happened on 9/11 can no longer be supported or sustained by any reasonable person.”
— Christopher Bollyn in his open letter to Pope Francis, March 25, 2014

Braveheart Apotheosis of the 9/11 Truth Movement

Solving 9-11 constitutes the ultimate fearless treatment of the subject of the 9/11 attacks. Christopher Bollyn has performed the highest act of journalistic heroism—by calling out perhaps the most powerful and sadistic Mob masquerading as the most sacred of sacred cows in human history. Further, he has done so succinctly… with clear, passionate writing. [The Mob has struck back, too, attacking and tasering Bollyn on the lawn of his home near Chicago, shattering his elbow, and forcing him and his family into exile.] Continue reading

Guest Column: Roots of the US-Israel Relationship

Israel and America: The Special Relationship that Isn’t
By Dr. Alan Sabrosky

israel_sabroskyDr. Sabrosky, a US Marine and former director of the US Army War College, is one of the foremost analysts I’ve found on the Web who starkly states his conviction, with key evidence, that top Israeli-Zionist officials were the prime movers and architects of the 9/11 attacks. The following excerpt from Sabrosky’s 2013 column provides background over the past several decades of how Zionism and Israel became dominant political entities in—indeed, quasicolonial masters of—America… with very few Americans realizing it. — bw

Two outstanding, indispensable, and timely reference books on this subject:

Special Disclaimer Regarding ‘Antisemitism’

Antisemitism has come to mean anti-Jewishness. It is important to note that neither Dr. Sabrosky (who has Jewish ancestors), nor I, nor any of the millions of individuals (many of them Jews) who question or deplore actions of the state of Israel or political Zionism, that led to Israel’s creation, are anti-Jewish… any more than those of us who disapprove of the KKK are anti-Christian. — bw

Special Relationship

Whenever Israel’s supporters today speak of a “special relationship” with the US that is supposedly graven in stone, it is useful to remember that something very different existed when Israel came into existence in 1948 on the gutted carcass of Palestine. The US recognized Israel, but that was about it. Hollywood was (and remains) largely a Jewish preserve, but their level of influence elsewhere—in the government, the media and academia—was limited.

Prominent American Jews felt no obligation to endorse Israel or Israeli leaders, no matter what happened. Dozens (including Albert Einstein) signed a letter published in the New York Times in 1948 protesting the arrival of Menachem Begin and condemning his actions. And the general American public was largely indifferent to what happened in the Middle East. Continue reading
