During the writing of my book on Libertarian Party/movement grand strategy, Leaving the Sandbox, I stumbled on a central idea not unlike being hit over the head by it with a two-by-four. Duh! As I wrote in that book, “The Great Barnacle standing in the way of human fulfillment has morphed from an easily identified and demonized Tyrant to a global matrix of mental domination and brute aggression masqueraded—via decades of the most sophisticated and insidious audiovisual mind control—as somehow intellectually respectable and GOOD FOR US!”

Thus our greatest challenge as freedom fighters is to convince the people that those people who say they’re from the government “ARE NOT here to help you.” What this means is today the fight for TRUTH and JUSTICE are indispensable prerequisites to our battle for freedom. How’s that for a subtitle, eh?

Let me tell you that sometimes I wish I had never come on board the 9/11 Truth Team —rather, as millions of supposed patriotic Americans, I accepted the government’s story and not asked questions. For me the truth journey on 9/11 started in 2005, with the viewing of a shoestring-budget DVD entitled Where’s the Plane? It had a simple message: “Nobody has actually produced evidence that a Boeing 757, much less Flight 77, struck the Pentagon on 9/11/2001…” and as much as I balked at that conclusion, I had to agree.

Where’s the Plane led to more questions, then to a site called Center for an Informed America hosted by gadfly question-asker and citizen-researcher Dave McGowan. Dave presented evidence and analysis about the Pentagon, also the World Trade Center and other aspects of the official conspiracy theory of 9/11… that… JUST… DID… NOT… ADD… UP. From there I discovered David Ray Griffin, the site 9/11truth.org, Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth, etc., and I became a veteran advocate by 2008. Continue reading →

Final Process and Project Notes and the First-Cut Letter Template

Continued from Part 2.

Before I get to the actual 9/11 truth letter template I’m going to propose as the central format for the entire project across the Truth Community, let me say a few more words about the preparation and process. This letter template is just that, a template, actually a suggestion to facilitate—by not requiring a lot of heavy lifting as a writer—individual action. Each individual should feel free to deviate from the template based on his own preferences or personal style. The important thing is to get cracking without too much prep time.

Process/Project High-Level

My vision for the project is that each activist/letter (email) writer begins and completes his or her own outreach in the span of two to four weeks. This period includes:

learning about and buying into the project thru the “After 9/11 Truth” columns or my book of the same name.[1]
making groupings or distribution lists of your contacts.
sending the letters (typically emails).
gathering data from the responses to feed the campaign.

Before we go into the steps for writing and sending our personal letter of appeal to action that we’ll be writing, we need to give some thought to our audience. Aside from the categories, what distinguishes the majority of the people we’ll be sending to—of the 353 names on my own personal lists, I’m estimating that more than half are deniers—is they are ‘respectable,’ generally established middle and upper-middle-class people who desperately do not want to face the facts about 9/11:

Brian’s Column: 9/11 Truth-Letter Closure Campaign, Part 1 of 3

Hastening the inevitable via personal, written appeals to action

Last week I wrote a column entitled “After 9/11 Truth” with the intent to show how quickly the facts of reality are coming down the pike on the Big Lie of 9/11. The truth is manifest, simply ‘intuitively obvious to the casual observer,’ to use a phrase from my days in the engineering world. By characterizing one’s ideas or statements as inevitable, one gets an edge over the resistance, especially if one’s ideas are consistent with reality. [I mentioned on my Facebook page how Leon Louw and Frances Kendall of South Africa accelerated the end of apartheid thru their 1987 book, After Apartheid.]

Note: As I got into the meat of this idea, it is becoming apparent that its full layout will be a longer undertaking than one column; indeed, I am now envisioning a short how-to booklet following from two to three columns. Part 1 is the preliminary setup, and I shall sketch a very simple basic request letter in Part 2.

Moment of truth is near, let’s start planning for the aftermath

Yes, one should never assume victory in the middle of a fight, because then you can let your guard down and lose it. But in regard to learning the truth about the 9/11 attacks, we’re at the tail end of the fight and the Big Lie has run to the corner of the ring all bloodied and waiting for the official decision. It’s really all over but the shouting… and the forces of the truth movement stand at the threshold of a major, species-saving victory. Brian’s Column: The 2008 Attempted Lynching of Kelly Tilghman

Hey sounds like a rock group, eh?

This column is resurrected from the Coffee Coaster archive of January 2008, and is doubly pertinent for a more recent instance of successful media lynching of (now former) PGA of America president Ted Bishop. Oh what a tangled web we weave at the Golf Channel, where on the Ted Bishop lynching, commentators were largely silent with their eyes cast down—Ms. Tilghman seemed the most subdued—nobody bold enough in the journalistic cojones department to state the inconsistency of letting the ‘sexist’ Bishop be lynched in silence while objecting vociferously to hanging the ‘racist’ Tilghman.
