Guest Column: Hydroxychloroquine a Proven Treatment Worldwide

1000s of Doctors: Yes, Hydroxychloroquine Works Against Wuhan Coronavirus
by Katie Pavlich via TownHall [original full April 5, 2020, column here]

Over the past three weeks, there’s been debate over whether hydroxychloroquine (HCQ), a drug used for decades to treat malaria, can help ease the symptoms of Wuhan coronavirus. During White House press briefings, reporters have done their best to shoot down the possibility.

But doctors around the country and the world are using it and seeing positive results.

First, in Los Angeles:

  • Dr. Anthony Cardillo said he has seen very promising results when prescribing hydroxychloroquine in combination with zinc for the most severely-ill COVID-19 patients.
  • “Every patient I’ve prescribed it to has been very, very ill and within 8 to 12 hours, they were basically symptom-free,” Cardillo told Eyewitness News. “So clinically I am seeing a resolution.”
  • Cardillo is the CEO of Mend Urgent Care, which has locations in Sherman Oaks, Van Nuys and Burbank.
  • He said he has found it only works if combined with zinc. The drug, he said, opens a channel for the zinc to enter the cell and block virus replication.
  • “We have to be cautious and mindful that we don’t prescribe it for patients who have COVID who are well,” Cardillo said. “It should be reserved for people who are really sick, in the hospital or at home very sick, who need that medication. Otherwise we’re going to blow through our supply for patients that take it regularly for other disease processes.”

New York:

  • Dr. Mohammud Alam, an infectious disease specialist affiliated with Plainview Hospital, said 81 percent of infected covid patients he treated at three Long Island nursing homes recovered from the contagion.
  • “In this crisis, I realized I had to do something,” Alam said. ”I realized if this was my dad, what would I do? And I would do anything I could to help.”
  • Alam said he decided he could not apply the touted combination of the antimalarial hydroxychloroquine and antibiotic azithromycin because the side effects could be potentially fatal for his high-risk patients, many of whom had underlying heart issues.
  • So instead, Alam replaced azithromycin with another decades-old antibiotic that doesn’t pose any known risks to the heart.

Guest Column: American Citizens Killed and Tortured by Israel?

No one is ever held accountable [Excerpt below]
By Philip Giraldi, original column in Unz Report here

One of the principal functions of a United States Embassy overseas is to provide citizen services, which includes coming to the assistance of Americans who are treated badly by the local government. It is a responsibility that most embassies take seriously, with the exception of the facility currently located in Jerusalem. One has to understand that that is so because the United States Embassy in Israel is like no other. In other countries, the American Embassy exists to support American travelers, businesses and a broad range of national interests. In Jerusalem the Embassy exists to support Israeli interests and to serve as an apologist every time the government of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu goes on a killing spree or does something else that is similarly outrageous, to include bombing neighboring Syria every other day.

America’s current ambassador, former Trump bankruptcy lawyer David Friedman, has funded Israel’s illegal settlements, which did not in any way complicate his confirmation as nearly everyone in Congress and the White House does not believe that the Palestinians actually are human beings. Since taking up his position, Friedman has defended Israel when its army sharpshooters have shot down scores of unarmed Gazans, including children, and has both praised and endorsed out-and-out theft by the Israeli government in Jerusalem, on the West Bank and the Golan Heights.

What the U.S. Embassy under Friedman will not do is put any real pressure on the Israeli government if its security forces or rampaging settlers kill, beat, maim or torture an American citizen, especially if said citizen happens to be of Palestinian descent. Indeed, Friedman is only the latest manifestation of Israel-first-itis among U.S. Ambassadors, the rot having started inevitably with Bill Clinton, who appointed Australian citizen Martin Indyk as the first Jewish ambassador to Tel Aviv. The two most recent ambassadors, Friedman and Daniel Shapiro, both political appointees, have also been Jewish. Shapiro so enjoyed being an Israeli that he decided to remain in the country after his appointment as ambassador was completed. He now works for an Israeli government funded think tank. Guest Column: Assange in Court

Former UK ambassador, Craig Murray: “Julian is being tortured.”
By Craig Murray [Excerpted from original column here.]

A man of true stature stands forth publicly to testify to the US and UK atrocity-laden treatment of an Australian journalist of heroic stature. End the UK and US demolition of the Bill of Rights and torture of Julian Assange. If we stand by as cowards watching his destruction, we will suffer the same or worse fate.— bw

UPDATE

I have received scores of requests to republish and/or translate this article. It is absolutely free to use and reproduce and I should be delighted if everybody does; the world should know what is being done to Julian. So far, over 200,000 people have read it on this blogsite alone and it has already been reproduced on myriad other sites, some with much bigger readerships than my own. I have seen translations into German, Spanish and French and at least extracts in Catalan and Turkish. I only ask that you reproduce it complete or, if edits are made, plainly indicate them. Many thanks.

BEGINS

I was deeply shaken while witnessing yesterday’s events in Westminster Magistrates Court. Every decision was railroaded through over the scarcely heard arguments and objections of Assange’s legal team, by a magistrate who barely pretended to be listening.

Before I get on to the blatant lack of fair process, the first thing I must note was Julian’s condition. I was badly shocked by just how much weight my friend has lost, by the speed his hair has receded and by the appearance of premature and vastly accelerated ageing. He has a pronounced limp I have never seen before. Since his arrest he has lost over 15 kg in weight.

But his physical appearance was not as shocking as his mental deterioration. When asked to give his name and date of birth, he struggled visibly over several seconds to recall both. I will come to the important content of his statement at the end of proceedings in due course, but his difficulty in making it was very evident; it was a real struggle for him to articulate the words and focus his train of thought.

Until yesterday I had always been quietly sceptical of those who claimed that Julian’s treatment amounted to torture – even of Nils Melzer, the UN Special Rapporteur on Torture – and sceptical of those who suggested he may be subject to debilitating drug treatments. But having attended the trials in Uzbekistan of several victims of extreme torture, and having worked with survivors from Sierra Leone and elsewhere, I can tell you that yesterday changed my mind entirely and Julian exhibited exactly the symptoms of a torture victim brought blinking into the light, particularly in terms of disorientation, confusion, and the real struggle to assert free will through the fog of learned helplessness. Guest Column: An Independents’ Manifesto

You are fighting the most important battle of all time
by Caitlin Johnstone   Original column appearing on her site here.

On the channels of Twitter, still, Ms. Johnstone waxes eloquently… frequently. And I’ve been reading her with relish (and the other more spicy condiments :)) for several months, I believe she hails from Down Under. That’s right, Melbourne, according to her Facebook Page. You will not read a more bracing, or more independent, political and public affairs writer. And this excerpt pointing to this column of hers I’m composing as a guest column. She’s also especially fond of another Australian, Julian Assange, whom US federales and UK lackeys seem to have kidnapped without any pretense of legality.

The column that follows could be the catalyst that brings success to ALL the truth and justice people worldwide. I see it as the perfect Independents’ Manifesto—in line with my own terms and work. For those who wish to move in a practical direction toward success, NOW, please read my book American Gumption-Catharsis and support and/or practice the Hendrickson Discovery. Then to get a handle on how the Independents’ movement will roll out, check out my novel, The Truman Prophecy.

One more thing: Thank you, dear Caitlin, I love you, too.

If you are reading this, it’s most likely the result of a series of events in your life which have drawn your interest and attention to the fact that our world is quite a bit different from what we’ve been told by our school teachers, by the news media, by Hollywood, and by politicians.

At some point, for whatever reason, you’ve come to realize that the consensus narratives in our society about what’s going on are false. The tools that people are taught to use to inform themselves about their government, their nation and their world are not just full of inaccuracies, but deliberate distortions, ranging from the reasons we’re given for why wars are started, to the way our political systems work, to where real power and authority actually lies, to the way nations and governments actually behave in the world.

This awareness has come with a degree of alienation. Not buying into the same consensus narratives about the world as your friends, loved ones and peers comes with an inability to relate to them on some levels, which can cause you to feel a lack of intimacy in those areas. You may have also found yourself the odd one out in conversations about politics or other controversial issues, maybe even lost old friends over it.

But you kept going anyway. For some of us, it’s more important to be true to the truth than it is to fit in. You’re one of those people.

So, I just want to say thank you. Sincerely. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I’m on-my-knees grateful to anyone who sets about untangling themselves and their species from the deceitful narratives which pervade our society. It is the most important battle that can possibly be fought. The most important battle that has ever been fought. Continue reading

Guest Column: Palestine, South Africa, and the Myth of One State

Exiled Palestinian proposal of a principled solution to the “israel” problem
Reformatted from Nahida, column here

Editor’s note: This marvelous article was referred to me by one of the local regular Ann Arbor protesters of Israel. It’s an inspiring document of the same elevated stature as our country’s Declaration of Independence and First Principles. Just about everyone, most libertarians included, wants to take the easy way out to resolve the Middle East issue.

There’s only one solution: Recognize that Zionist Israel is the 100-year-old psycho-pathic aggressor and ethnic cleanser on the people of Palestine, and these people must be enabled by the nations and people of the world to a) obtain full restitution, b) subject culpable Israelis to war crime trial and conviction, and c) evict and completely undo the invader state and statists of Israel from Palestine, restoring Palestine to the open society—with a substantial minority of law-abiding, peaceful Jews—it was before the invasion.

World peace, international law, and human individual rights around the world are at stake. I have done a bit of editing and formatting and basically transcribed the entire column Nahida has written, hopefully making it easier to read. I trust she will forgive me. — bw

Insisting on squeezing the Palestinian struggle to fit the apartheid model of South Africa or black America is a double whammy:

First, presenting the Zionist entity as a normal state with a few apartheid policies that can be changed is fundamentally false:

  1. What is happening in Palestine is not mere segregation and apartheid, what is going on is ethnic cleansing, wiping a country off the map, and slow genocide.
  2. Racism in the “Jewish state” is ideological, grounded in “sacred” texts, cultural practices, and the inherent concept of “chosen-ness,”—unlike South Africa in which racism was a momentary convenience, reflecting opportunistic fulfillment of self-interest of a white minority.

Second, when activists are intoxicated with the deceptive mantra of “Equal rights, One State, Two People,” offered as the best formula and ideal model of solution rather than other successful models of Liberation, such as Algeria for example, that means they participate in whitewashing and rewarding the century-ongoing Zionist crimes. Such a paradigm gives leeway to the thriving of an illegal genocidal expansionist racist entity… and would mean blessing the expansion of “israel” and granting the Zionist occupier a comprehensive and “peaceful” takeover, and unrestricted control over our land and our lives.

Like North America, South Africa was conquered and subsequently ruled by white Europeans several centuries ago, i.e. before International Law adopted through the Nuremberg Principles right after WW2, explicitly prohibiting land acquisition through military conquest, and clearly defined Crimes Against Humanity—amidst them:

  • Wars of Aggression and Conquest,
  • Genocide and Instigation of Wars and Crimes against Peace,
  • and War Crimes to be the worst categories of crimes

All these have been, and still are in even worse manner, perpetrated by Jewish “israelis.”

Furthermore, this “one-state, two people” approach fully ignores the unbalanced premise of the reality on the ground, and the implication such proposal would have— namely the finalization of the aims of the racist, expansionist and exclusionary Jewish Nationalist experiment called “israel.” Continue reading

Guest Column: Speaking the Truth to Jews

RighteousJew.org’s Paul Eisen morally compasses Palestine and Jewish Power
Excerpt from longer article here, by Paul Eisen

Editor’s note: I keep wracking this my brain for how is it even conceivable that Israel con-tinues to commit open genocide on the people of Palestine and how is it anything but unspeak-ably outrageous that my federal legislators (and millions of oth-ers) continue to be complicit in these ongoing crimes against humanity—especially vs. the helpless elderly, women, and children. Then along comes Mr. Eisen with a brilliant article so explaining. Paul is a dear friend of one of the local activists in a group I jokingly refer to as the Ann Arbor GDL. This group, whom I have only joined so far in spirit, not on the ground, conducts a weekly vigil for humanity in general at Beth Israel Congregation.

What Israel and Zionism have done, and are doing, to the Palestinians is indefensible, yet so many Jews defend it. How and why do they do this? And why does the rest of the world seem complicit and unable to speak out?

The Original Sin

Many arguments can be advanced in favour of a Jewish state in Palestine, from the simple right of the Jewish people to national self-determination, the right of Jews to return to their ancestral homeland, and the need of a suffering and persecuted people for a haven where they can be safe and secure.

Jews can define themselves as they wish. If they feel themselves to be a nation, then they are a nation. But, in accordance with the dictum, that ‘your freedom to swing your arm ends where your finger touches my nose’, it is when this self-definition impinges on others that the problems begin. It is then that others may ask whether this Jewish sense of nationhood-often an emotional and religious matter based on a perceived sharing of history and even of destiny-can ever be realised politically. What it boils down to is this: Jews, like any other people, may have the right to establish and maintain a state of their own, but, do Jews have the right to establish and maintain a state of their own in Palestine, already the home of the Palestinians? All this may, and will be argued, but what is beyond dispute is that, for Jewish national self-determination and statehood, it is the Palestinians who have paid a terrible price.

By 1947-48, Palestinians had been reduced to a state of anxiety and insecurity, and in 1948, when the State of Israel was established, a traditional Palestinian society was no match for its democratic, egalitarian and fiercely ideological foe. As a consequence, an entire way of life was obliterated. At least 750,000 Palestinians were driven from their homes and into exile, more than 450 of their towns and villages were destroyed or pillaged and people who had lived a settled life for generations ended up either in tents in Lebanon, Syria or Jordan, or as a bereft and traumatised diaspora in every corner of the earth.

Nor was all this an unintended by-product of war. Although the idea that the Palestinians just ‘ran away’ has, in the main, been dispelled, we are still left with many stories, obfuscations and downright lies about where responsibility lies for this ethnic cleansing. The critical issue now centres on the question of intentionality. Continue reading

Guest Column: Taking Charge vs. High-Crime Utility Meter Assaults

Prosecuting criminal behavior in the forced installation of smart meters
Courtesy Jerry Day and David Lonier

Another in a series of taking back our country one criminal complaint at a time. The forced installation of so-called smart electrical meters (harmfully radiating, fire-hazard home surveil-lance devices) is illegal and a violation of First Principles. Unfortunately, the utility companies do not care and the justice system and police simply protect them in the continued violation of the law and your rights.

Jerry Day, who produces this YouTube video here, maintains a site that offers a prudent means of proceeding by going on the offensive against the corrupt public officials subjecting you to risk, harm, and unwarranted surveillance. That site is here: https://www.emfhelpcenter.com/. But just in case you do find an attorney of principle, or (my approach) start filing complaints with your local people’s independent First Principles’ grand jury. here is a list of laws violated in Michigan. [Use the compiled laws of your own state to tailor your own list.]

Laws Violated by the Forced Install of Smart Meters

Michigan Penal Code, Act 328 of 1931: MCL 750.539 a & d –

It’s a felony to install a surveillance device on private property without the explicit consent of the owner.
