Whistleblower experiences ‘Nightmare’ in federal prison

“There is an expression in the English language called Kafka-esque,” an exasperated Pete Hendrickson said about his wife’s treatment by the American ‘Justice’ System. “It refers to being enmeshed in an institutional insanity and an institutional impropriety.”

In his first public interview since his wife was kidnapped and thrown behind bars for a crime she didn’t commit, Pete Hendrickson describes the tragic circumstances surrounding his wife’s condition behind bars. Taped back in October, Hendrickson, the author of Cracking the Code: The Fascinating Truth About Taxation In America gives a somber account of the legal nightmare that has torn apart his family. Doreen Hendrickson has now been imprisoned for close to seven months for speaking the truth:

“It’s not just an assault on Doreen’s 1st Amendment rights,” Pete said in the video. “It’s an assault on your 1st Amendment rights, and on everyone’s 1st Amendment rights. If the government can get away with ordering someone to say what it wishes over their sworn signature in this case, they can get away with doing it in other cases.”

Her ordeal received coverage from a Michigan-based news outlet, Pontiac Tribune and a few other independent media sources. However, her story was largely ignored by the mainstream media and other large outlets. To make matters worse, Doreen suffered a terrible leg injury after a fall in prison, making her tragic circumstance even more painful.

In addition, a documentary was produced about the ordeal earlier this year. In Free Speech on Trial: IRS v. Hendrickson, the facts are laid out about why Doreen was prosecuted and the despicable lengths the state will use to protect its ill-gotten gains and prevent the truth from being known by the public.

“We live in a world now where we have to jealously guard our liberties because they are under attack. And if this assault is left undefended against, it’s the camel’s nose under the tent flag. And things will get worse,” Hendrickson said.
